The volume is an edited, richly illustrated version of the last manuscript of Éva Kiss Bitay's Chicks and Other Trivia, an excellent Hungarian author from Transylvania, who died in 2017.

The first part, entitled Animal Brides and Their Parents, was published in 2019 under the auspices of Kreatív Könyvkiadó.

Éva Kiss Bitay defined the Hungarian elementary, primary and secondary school biology education in Romania for almost six decades with her popular science writings and educational volumes. His published works are about nature, love and protection, and are excellent aids for school and home environmental education.
